Since 2021, we have been a part of the People&Baby group, which has found in La Giocomotiva a model to follow and to propose to all future Italian schools joining the group.

We use a full immersion approach, in which exposure to the English language is exclusive and occurs both in routine moments and during class activities. The stimulation of verbal and sound constructions is different from that of the mother tongue allowing children to activate new connections, to have greater mental openness, flexibility and acceptance to different contexts and cultures.
We give importance to the quality of the foods offered (mostly organic), we follow the seasons and try to vary the dishes in order to stimulate curiosity in children towards new flavors, with a balanced diet plan and special menus in case of particular needs. Our internal kitchen, managed by an Italian chef, offers a detailed menu that is sent to families at the beginning of each month.
Our school aims to reduce pollution and for this reason it is constantly committed to teaching its children how to protect the environment by saving drinking water, electricity, reducing food waste and studying the environment and biodiversity. In addition to this, we try to strengthen the relationship between children and nature through an educational vegetable garden (directly at school) and specific workshops dedicated to land care and cultivation.
We have joined, as a school of excellence, in various projects including FAITH and Reggio Children. We are also partners of embassies, public and private bodies, schools and universities in Rome. Since 2019 we have started a collaboration with the Luiss University which has made its outdoor spaces and experts available to us for the creation of educational workshops on nature.
As of 2018, we have implemented the Cambridge program for all our children as we believe that joining the project, as well as being an important expansion of our objectives, can be a valid opportunity for our children who, at the end of their journey with us, will be able to access a certification recognized around the world.
